Our Holiday display of Antique quilts and Toys spanning the late 1800's to the 1970's is on display now at the Vestal Museum. Wednesdays 9 - 1pm, Thursday Evenings 5 - 9 pm, Saturdays 9 - 3 pm and Sundays Noon - 4 pm. We will have lectures and events centered around quilting, throughout the exhibition check out Vestalmuseum.org or Facebook: Vestal Museum for more information. Admission is free.

The Auburn Chamber Orchestra (ACO) will be performing a holiday concert entitled “Sounds of the Season”. It will be performed at Auburn High School, 250 Lake Ave, Auburn, NY 13021 on Sunday, December 14th at 2:00 PM.
Our annual "Sounds of the Season" concert, conducted by Dr. Victor Vallo, Jr., will feature both secular and sacred holiday music through the centuries. These include Joy to the World, Sleigh Ride (German Dance No. 3), Jesu Joy of Man’s Desiring, A Most Wonderful Christmas, and Sleigh Ride (Encore). ACO will also be joined by baritone vocalist David Rudari for Gesu Bambino, ‘Twas the Night Before Christmas, and Sing in Exultation (Sing-A-Long).
The Auburn Chamber Orchestra is in its 39th concert season. The orchestra musicians come from a wide range of age groups, communities and professions.

Magical toys, dancing snowflakes and belly dancers, with visions ofsugarplums dancing on the stage means it is the holiday tradition of the Ithaca Ballet’s Nutcracker! Friday evening and Saturday and Sunday matinees at 3 p.m. 70+ dancers including guest children will grace the State Theatre stage. This year our featured guest artist is Sonia Dvorak, originally from Ithaca who has recently been the soloist at the Vienna State Ballet.

MAQ is a musical ensemble based in Ithaca, NY comprised of some of the area's best seasoned jazz and Brazilian-music musicians. Its members have individually toured throughout the United States and Europe, in venues from concert halls to clubs, performing everything from classic and modern jazz to Brazilian bossa and folk music.
MAQ will play the 1st and 3rd Mondays.
